I took my son to the Alabama Football Specialist camp this weekend. He is a rising Sophomore and kicks and punts for his high school team. While I was there I had the pleasure to see the QB's and receivers running drills while I waited for my son's camp to start.
Milroe and Simpson were running together in pairs and Mack and Lonergans were running together in pairs.
A few observations...
Milroe effortlessly wrist flips the ball on a roll out 40 yds down field on target. His ball is tight and on target. Also Milroe looks to be in Beast Mode as he is a big dude and moves around with ease. I think he could have a Cam Newton type season where he is just unstoppable.
Austin Mack looks to be legit and is a tall athletic dude that can move and deliver the ball.
Our receivers are freeks. I couldn't tell who was who due to all the new faces but we have talent there.
James Burnip has an absolute cannon for a leg and he will be a special teams weapon for us.
Didntt get to see the placekicking guys any.
Lastly just getting to go out into the practice facility and the indoor facility for the camp was a near Augusta like experience.
Got a couple videos but will have to figure out how to post them.
