The more I read and think about it, the more I think Black could/would help us out. It's a tough decision to make because you're giving up a year of the kid's eligibility for just two games...but, he really could be the difference in winning the National Championship, or, sadly, not.

These days, guys like Black don't stick around for 4 years... if he can help/provide quality depth at WR on Saturday, then he will be out there. On a side note, in 2001 with LSU, Saban pulled the redshirt off DB Travis Daniels during the SECCG against Tennessee because of an injury to Randall Gay.

Well he won't be starting, even if be plays. Might be more of a capable body out there when needed than a guy that's going to show up all over the box score. I guess I'm saying any role would likely be minimal.
