Thats easy as far as records go. I would say John Parker Wilson. I haven't been around for the whole history of Alabama but, I think Jay Barker deserves mention.

Quoted for truth. JPW gets a lot of grief about some of his decisions and game-play, but he still has my respect for leading us to a 12-0 regular season, and other accomplishments!

Haven't been around Bama football as long as some others so I'm gonna have to go with JPW...although when I was a kid I loved me some Kitchens, though being a kid I wasn't really aware if he was underrated or not.

Jay gets plenty of love, from all kinds of sources. Jay isn't reviled by large portions of the fanbase.
