I think Scott Hunter is worthy of mention. The game he played against Ole Miss and Archie Manning in the 1969 game is one for the record books. It's easy to overlook his abilities given that he was post Snake and pre wishbone. I think he was underrated due to the number of losses we suffered during his leadership. But, there were a number of other factors (other than Hunter's play) which contributed to those losses. He went on to follow Bart Starr at Green Bay and lead them to a division title.
