🏈 Whats your gut feeling about old miss and LSU?

I think the game hinges on QB play. Does Wallace come back down to Earth and does Jennings/Harris play well and protect the ball. Like @TerryP mentioned, OM doesn't run very well at all but does pass well. LSwho can't defend the run that well but can defend the pass.

Slightly off the subject:

LSU fans were very proud of what Mett accomplished last year and gave credit to Cam Cameron for Mett's development.

Miles seemingly has a "thing" for dual-threat guys. Now, Cam is faced with developing a passing threat with one of the two QB's they're playing. I wonder if this season will define what role Cam has with this offense and QB development. (IOW, you can't build something without some tools in place.)

I agree @TerryP. I can see where their fans would be proud. He did come light years from where he had been the previous year. I think the problem lies with Les and his "thing" for the dual threat guys. It reminds me of trying to put a square peg into a round hole. So many of these dual threat kids aren't truly developed as passers in this spread option offenses that these HS use now. The kid is primarily just another RB that happens to have the best arm on the team. These HS coaches work so much on the reads and mesh points, that they neglect the throwing, reading coverages, and footwork that is required to be a complete QB.
I think that Cameron probably did a good job with Mett, since Mett had the skill set of a NFL QB and not that of a slashing RB that can throw.
