šŸˆ Who’s to blame for Notre Dame’s shocking snub? ESPN, the system, the ACC and yes, the Irish - NT TImes / The Athletic

I'm certainly not advocating for them to join, just drawing out what it would entail. The Big Ten and the SEC are only going to increase in size. The Big 12 money brokers may keep that league cobbled together, or they could get raided. I think the ACC gets raided, for sure. SMU paid their way into the ACC, pursuing a similar strategy to TT, but they faltered this year, but I think it'll yet be interesting.

Strength of schedule matters, as ND has found out. Bama's foresight to move from neutral site games to homes and aways was very wise.
šŸˆšŸˆšŸˆi guess we have litte input. Its money people.
Control the green. Control everything

Yep! ALL of the B1G 10 are arrogant assholes! Notre Dame would be a perfect fit!
Ha! I was thinking more along the lines of maintaining rivalries with USC, Michigan, and others. It would be easy for them to keep playing Navy each year.

On another note, if they are up there in the B1G you wouldn't hear as much about ND unless you're locked on Fox games. CBS would LOVE having ND in the afternoon.

SEC already has the arrogant Texas fans... might as well add the Irish too. IMO, Notre Dame is going to hold out as an Independent as long as they possibly can, but they having an exit strategy would certainly be in their best interest. And like it or not, the SEC saving them a seat at the table, would be in the SEC's best interest. I don't like any of it, but it's all a matter of time, so may as well get used to it.
