I think field position and turnovers will decide this game, as with most games like this. Special teams must play at a higher level....solid tackling, maintaining lanes, and solid punts / kickoffs. The team that has better overall starting field position has a better chance to win IMO.

TOP, turnovers and special teams/field position. Lee has been very efficient this year. Their passing game seems more polished but your run game is stronger. Control the clock, play mistake free and it is yours.

If either team tries to play outside themselves the flood gate will open. They will have to throw it to win. I don't think your LBs will give enough room for them to run.

We have to show up, ready to play at a high intensity level. Obviously, we were not too concerned about Tenn. That changed after half time. If we show up as fired up as I think we will be, we will slap LSU into the 3rd row. We will beat them by 3 touchdowns. Bank on it.

This is a payback game. We should've beaten them last year. We will need to pressure Lee - he has lots of time to throw all year as evidences by their ultra low sacks allowed numbers. He will make bad decisions if pressured. On offense, I say we take it right to the honey badger in the passing game. I think he looks so good b/c other teams try to work around him. We should attack right at him.

Play with confidence and play to win (as opposed to playing not to lose), punch them in the mouth and remember this is payback time.

LSU certainly has the edge in special teams, that punter they have sits back and throws frickin' darts into the 2 yardline like it's nothing! The obvious statement of "whomever shows up and plays their game will win it" is easy to toss out. I think A.J. has to play flawlessly, he must hit every pass and on the few times we take the shot down field, he has to connect! The o' line needs to play their "A" game as well, open those running lanes and give A.J. time to throw. The D should play well on both sides of the ball, we need to get some pressure on Lee and not let him sit pack and make throws. I think the bye week serves us better than LSU, Saban is unbelievalbly good at preparing with a bye week! I bought tickets for this game 5 weeks ago and I can't wait for kickoff!!!

Since no one else has said it, I will. In order to beat LSU, Alabama will have to score more points than they do.

Sorry, just had to do it.

AJ's gonna have to hit some throws down field... they're gonna stack the box and dare us to throw it. It's not gonna be any secret, tons of blitzes thrown at him too. All the screens we love to throw to the WRs just aint gone work against those LBs I dont think, just too much speed. Barrett Jones is gonna be big time tested by Mingo, that guy is fast as hell. If/when he matches up against Fluker, it should be something to watch, is Fluker's feet fast enough to get him? I have no doubt if he can get his hands on Mingo he'll bury him, but thats the trouble...getting your hands on him. Also, Vlachos has struggled the last few weeks, several penalties, that D-Line is impressive. He'll have to play his best game. Offensively I think the guys to watch are Maze and White... Maze can get downfield but can he get past Honeybadger? Hanks too, he made some pretty impressive catches last week, he and Maze will see one-on-ones all day. They HAVE to win.

Defensively, same as it always is. Shut down the run, force them to be one dimensional. Upsahw and Hightower get after the QB, make his ass (whichever QB it is), wish to god the game will end. This is the first O-Line/RBs we've seen that are as physical as us. It's gonna be a war in the trenches. Josh Chapman will be one to watch on defense imo.

Special Teams will likely be a factor too... which has been our biggest weakness... and is not a weakness for LSU. Kickoffs were better this week, coverage was better, punting was better, and Field Goals were better. Can we carry that over and continue to improve there?

I'll tell you what needs to be done.

Hit them so hard you knock their freakin' silly yellow helmets to the sidelines. Then, then, roll them up like little pizza dough balls and toss them out the back of the endzone. Are you hearing me?

Yes special teams and turnovers will determine this game. Unfortunately, I think LSU wins this one. 19-13. I think we will suffer at the qb position and although both our O and D lines are bigger, LSU's depth is too deep and fast. I can handle 1 loss, I just hate that it is going to be to LSU. Rolltide!

What needs to be done to beat LSU ??

Flatten their tires in Baton Rouge so they don't make it to Tuscaloosa?

Dude you're making it more and more obvious that you're a lamea** troll, the only question now is if you're a Barner or Corndog. Everyone of your posts on this site have been about how Alabama "dont want" LSU and the only way to win is to flatten their tires, etc. Try not to be too obvious of a troll on ur next account after u get banned...
