That was one of a half dozen since Clemson '08 that I was most certain of the outcome. Picked it 31-13 and it was 32-13. Picked the Clemson '08 game 34-13. It was 34-10 with Clemson having to pass up the other 3 points and go for a first down late in the game.
Nailed the 2012 Michigan and ND scores at 41-14 and 42-14!
Yeah, the way the media is going one would think Bama is an 8 point underdog as they were to Miami. I love it! I became a Bama fan on 01/01/1953. After reading and hearing the entire month of December how the 'Beast of the East' Syracuse was going to teach those little boys from Alabama how to play football.
I can't speak for him but my sentiment is not meant as a slight toward Hurts at all. It has that much more to do with the sound game plan that Stallings' had for Miami. Jalen just needs to focus on zero turnovers, no penalties, & short 3rd down conversion opportunities. Of course Hurts is way better than Barker, which makes this plan more promising. Especially if he has filthy 3rd down conversion scramble, TD or something along those lines. Stellar defense, special teams (kicking & punting), field position, ball control offense, zero turnovers, & a pounding run game.
I simply do not think that Clemson can play a game like that physically or mentally (they'll get impatient, press, & force things).
Bo up the middle and all 11 Clemson defenders slam him to the ground
Oh wait! Teague, I mean Hurts, took the ball away from him. Teague's, I mean Hurts', got the ball!!
He throws to Ridley for the TD
Defense is our Ace in the hole. Last year we let them score and we had to respond with more scores than them. This year will be more like the LSU game. Hope our defense strangles them and our offense has a good day. 24-7 BAMA
Great interview, talked about several of the articles he's written this past week. Hand, Sark, Saban's 2008 class, and how he appreciates how Alabama plays football.
