Those of us who are OK with the Big 12 Champion because they play a complete round robin schedule appear to be a rather small minority. Those of us who are NOT OK with the ND situation appear to be a rather large majority.

Since one of, if not the primary issue with both is neither having to play the extra game, why not have in the selection process a clause saying that if the #4 and # 5 teams are the Big 12 Champion and ND they will play-in for the #4 spot? #4 is home team. Problem solved.

Stanford will get their chance vs. ND. Big12 will be interesting with their "back-end-loaded" schedules. I don't care who Bama plays, as long as we're in the top 4. But, I have to say it would be sweet to get revenge against OSU.
