🏈 WEEK 11: NCAA / SEC Games of the week {LIVE}

With LSU losing, where does Bama stand as to winning the West? Or does Ole Miss have to lose another game to make the IB a non-factor?

Roll Tide! Beat CS!

Ole Miss is a 1 loss team within the West, losing to Arkansas (Memphis and Florida don't count initially). See #2 & #3 below. If we win out and they win out, we're in due to #3. If we lose to Auburn and they beat both LSU & Miss State, they win SEC West. If we beat Auburn and they lose to one of the LSU or Miss State, then we're in. If they lose both, we're in.

TWO-TEAM TIEBREAKER PROCEDURE
  1. Head-to-head winner between the two tied teams. Barring extreme circumstances like a canceled game or one called off due to weather, all division rivals will always meet once during the regular season.
  2. Records of the tied teams within the division.
  3. Records against the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
  4. Overall record vs. all non-divisional opponents.
  5. Overall record vs. all common non-divisional teams if there be any.
  6. Record vs. common non-divisional opponent (if there be any) with the best overall conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
  7. *This rule used to be determined by a team’s BCS ranking, but that’s since been changed in the Playoff era. The SEC will use the combined league record of the teams’ cross-divisional foes to determine the divisional champion.

I don't mind when a traditional team fakes an injury to get a sub, one rules exploit deserves another. But when a HUNH team does it, it's fucking hypocritical. And they do it more than anyone, it seems. Aub vs Ore is one that comes to mind.

Baylor just had a pathetically obvious one where one player goes up and taps another and points to the ground to tell him he's supposed to fall down. Baylor's coach is another exploitative dirty POS.
