Well, things are shaping up nicely for A&M... barring bayou miracle, this one is over. Next game they go to Mizzou who will surely be without Pribula at QB... then home to South Carolina and Samford and closing it out against a good yet maligned Texas team. Their path to Atlanta is nice and clear.

I wonder when the last time (at least) 6 out of 7 SEC road teams won the game? And it may have been 7 for 7 had Pribula not gotten hurt at Vandy.

I reluctantly have to give credit to A&M and Elko... they've played a pretty weak SEC schedule, but they still set them up and knocked them all down (so far). Tonight's win in Red Stick is actually impressive.

I did not realize that Mizzou nearly tied the game with Vandy on a last second hail mary... I'd imagine they'd have gone for 2 and the win since they were without Pribula, but who knows how it would have tuned out. Still... just inches away from having a chance...

Looking ahead to next Saturday... one thing I always enjoy is on Bama's bye, for there to be a pretty good slate of matchups throughout the day. Well, next week, at a glance... SUCKS. OU at TN is the most intriguing to me, but no time on that yet. Still, an overall dud of a day. Yeah, there'll be some upsets and games that turn out good, but not a lot I'm looking forward to.

Tonight's win in Red Stick is actually impressive.

In the last two seasons A&M has outscored LSU 10:1 in the second half of those games. At that differential it's disingenuous just to say "second half adjustments." Those are P4 vs DIII numbers...

For those paying attention...just in the SEC, four of the six should be worth the watch. I can't believe I'm about to write this:

Texas hosting Vandy is a game I'm interested in watching?!?! If I remember this correctly it's the noon game on ABC.
