Afraid so. Mike Slive was given full authority by the school's ADs and presidents some years ago to fine, reprimand, and decide the length of suspensions for HCs who publicly criticize the referees. It would be on a case by case basis. But what Shoop said was much more cryptic than say Bielema's outcries about the sorry refs in our game. Bielema backtracked his words and he came out and publicly apologized about these guys working another arkansas game. Even threatened to hug them up next time he saw them, LOL.
