🏀 Varidel's coursework from Chaminade cleared: officially added to Bama roster.

Christophe Varidel, the recent transfer from Chaminade, has had his coursework cleared by UA admissions and has been officially added to the Alabama Men's basketball roster for 2014-2015.

True threat from the perimeter, and also good on the FT line (shot 87% at FGC, 83% last year). I'm hoping Grant will let the team play more like they did at the end of yer last year, little more relaxed, open, and better screens to get an open shot. Tarant, Levi, Hale, and now Varidel...pretty good group.

Because this is a smaller team than we have had the last couple of years we will probably press more. Of course we wanted to press more last year, but deficiencies in made baskets kept us from doing so.

Devi Mitchell and Riley Norris had great reputations as shooters/scorers in high school among our frosh. Justin Coleman could score as well, though he was streaky.

Seriously though. I hope this influx of new players helps. I'm not hopeful.
