Unfortunately, I think this is where we'll see the biggest drop next season. He is adding play makers that can handle the ball and shoot well from 3. His system.... Hope they can also play elite D. To win it all need lots of options offensively, elite D and depth. Seems like he is building that.
Interesting you say that? I don't think there will be a huge drop off. Oats still preach defense.Unfortunately, I think this is where we'll see the biggest drop next season.
He absolutely does, but outside of Pringle and Bediako at 5, there aren't really any experienced glue guys who can be good on ball defenders and can close out. At least we don't know yet. Plus losing Charlie Henry, who was a very good defensive coach.Interesting you say that? I don't think there will be a huge drop off. Oats still preach defense.
Yeah pretty sure Oats does not want any more of the media backlash associated with players and weapons.Scratch Walton from this list. Dumbass got himself arrested over the weekend in Tuscaloosa with weed and you guessed it, a loaded handgun. Oats just put statement out!!
Jaykwon Walton no longer transferring to Alabama: Police say he had marijuana in car with gun
Coach Nate Oats said the former G.W. Carver-Montgomery prep star "will not be a student-athlete at The University of Alabama."www.al.com
It's going around.Shaking my head. Weapons and weed???
Why we canceled? We canceled our visit with Kante. I'd like to think we're going after another big. Sherrel won't reclassify due to academics, but we are definitely in the lead for him for the '24 class.
Bediako decides to jump...
Wish him well but if he came back it would have been great for Bama basketball next year. Good luck if true.
