I apologize if I offended you poke your head in the sand folks and hope you wake up and smell the coffee. I am not a doc, however I am at a party watching football with a real orthopedic surgeon that said he has talked to the orthopedic doc with BAMA. Just wanted to pass on to my friends what I had learned.

First off... no orthopedic without looking at the MRI and evaluations hours after the injury would be able to say any injury is either career ending or not.

Second... any orthopedic that had seen the MRI and evaluated Tua wouldn’t be able to tell anyone shit due to HIPPA.

I don't know anything. Sorry I posted something that was hearsay. I don't believe hippa rules apply between surgeons. They were just discussing generals and I got way too worked up about it.

Thanks for posting this. Too much speculation going on. This is the only official status.

As for those who are "in the know," there could be a violation of HPPA law which could lead to a doctor losing their license. If these reports are true, I hope an investigation uncovers who broke the law.

I doubt anyone talked to anyone and heard anything directly. At best there was some overhearing as is always the case in a high-profile medical case. Could be that someone heard "hip dislocation and we need to check to ensure there is no posterior fracture" but did not register all of it. Still could be HIPPA if it was a nurse or anyone else who is covered by it but I doubt anyone prosecutes a doctor for speaking to another doctor in a fast moving case without confirming everyone in earshot is covered by the NDA.

This is what google says -

So I guess the answer is yes they popped it back into place.

yeah. If I remember correctly, CJ reduced his own. It popped back in place while he was on the turf in the Super Dome. It’s getting the joint or bones back where there are supposed to be or back incorrect alignment. Or so I heard while dreaming in the Holiday Inn last night.
