To me, the biggest blunder is they listened to their board of trustees but didn't bother to talk to the players at all.

Their blunder was allowing the adults in the room make the decision versus the kids? There's certainly fault to be found with the decision makers. But, to ask the kids what the decision should be?

I don't see any reason for this decision by Maryland to be something based on what the players think, or what the students think.

So, at this point, I have to just take it as you are purposely twisting what I said, because I know you are not a dumb person. Why? You know that's not what I said. I clearly said they took what the board said but didn't take the players into consideration at all. I've said that twice in this thread. I never once said "they should have done what the players wanted." I even mentioned the staff itself in a previous post. Talking to the players and the staff may have given them a better insight into him as a coach and what bringing him back would mean. If the locker room is so against the coach that he is going to lose the locker room immediately (or even have players leave the program), that is certainly something that should have been taken into consideration. You took what I said and twisted it like I was saying they should have listened to the players INSTEAD of the board,.

Canada has them at 5-3 if I am correct. I would take the interim tag off of him after the season. He has taken an obvious difficult situation and made some positive out of it. The kids have rallied around him and seem to be playing hard for him and the biggest thing, they trust him!!

Maryland would be a legit threat for Locks. I hope he sticks around a few more years.

I do not see an established HC leaving to go there. They will either keep O Canada or hire a coordinator

Personally if I were in a stable position I would never consider it because I don’t believe the shitshow is over.
