To borrow an overused cliche ...

Tell me you've never been to a strip club without telling me you've never been to a strip club.

Overpriced Bud Light?
As a poor 20 something year old in Vegas living as a local, for a few years, I used to just go to the free buffet nights at certain clubs to get food because I couldn't afford anything except maybe a cheeseburger from McDonalds or a bag of tacos from Del Taco. I will say, certain clubs had some mighty delicious buffets and others not so much. Also usually since you're a local, the girls would just sit and chat/eat with you which made for some funny and interesting conversations.
Don't knock the buffets until you try them, some fine fried chicken and potato salad at these places

I don't care how he picks up chicks. 😈 Lauren might. 🤷‍♂️
Maybe she can convince him to come back. Hopefully she'll be for him, what Mrs.Terry is for Saban. Which, in past events.... has been extremely beneficial for the program.

I'll reach for anything at this point if it gets him to come back.

Here's the good thing about Schumann.... he's got a full year of on the job training.
To me, this is the interesting part of your wishes on who we see hired—and you've summed it up nicely.
he's got a full year of on the job training
But he's never had the job.

Lupoi was the co-DC in Tuscaloosa in 2017; he'd spent a year as the LB coach if you recall. He was working alongside Pruitt; "on the job training." We saw the issues in 2018 which led to him being in Cleveland in 2019. That should elicit a little hesitancy.

To add a bit here ... this is also where Leonhard makes a better choice. While the scheme is a little different (Aranda's 3-4 concepts) at least he has experience in the 3-4 scheme. While I'm a little pessimistic about his experience with offenses that are seen weekly in the SEC, at least there's the fact he's ran a defense by himself.
