By the averages, this was supposed to be a 74-73 ND win. ND was averaging 72 and Bama was giving up 76. Bama was averaging 80 and ND was giving up 66. Bama was pitiful.

How did we win the SEC regular season championship, the SEC tournament, and come within a few points of the Elite 8 in 2021, yet stink it up SO badly this year? I was pulling so hard for Rutgers the other night because I had a sick feeling that if Notre Dame won, they would embarrass us. I would have rather gone to the NIT than see the shit show we saw today. Oates may be Grant 2.0.

A fitting end to a season filled with questions and very few answers. If an NBA team picks JD in the first round, they must have X-ray vision to see things the folks who watched the games didn’t see except in flashes. My only question with him is this … was he a poorer ball handler or a poorer defender?

Unfortunately, this will be the norm if Oats can’t get players in the system that can hit the 3’s consistently. If not Bama fans will have to suffer through future seasons like this year.
