Teams that like to press, don’t always handle it well. While some teams like to play fast like BAMA, they don’t handle “being sped up”. Think about driving on the freeway with set speed limits and then getting dropped off on the autobahn in Germany.

Forgetting that the car you are driving on the Autobahn, is and American make VW. You get it up to 80 thinking in kilometers. Then you remember that this VW was brought, in the States. You slow down because cars are passing you like you are sitting still! One of my fond memory I have being in Germany.

When I was in HS, one of our English teachers took a group of 45-50 of us to Europe. England, Amsterdam, Belgium, France, West Germany and Switzerland were all on the itinerary. We had a tour bus and our driver ran 80-85 everywhere!!! Our guide came on the sound system to tell us that a Lamborghini was coming up on us on our left. By the time those sitting on the right got up, the Lamborghini was a blur!!!

One thing I learned was that if you see someone coming up to you and flashing their lights, get out of the way. I don't mean three or four car links either. I told my wife when there a car wrecks, it's not two or three cars, it's more like several cars. I was bringing my family over, and one of the sergeants came to pick us up. It happens so fast that we stop in time before the guy behind us didn't and that push us into the car in front of us. I think it was about 7-8 car pile up. I think it took about 30 minutes before we were back driving.

I continue to be in awe of Houston's coordination and hands on defense. Obviously, they practice the hell out of rebounding, but their guys are so coordinated that it's more than that. Somehow, Sampson taps into something drill wise that gives them a big edge there. They can't shoot it for shit, but they could grab BB's out of the air.

Insane. I'd be interested to see what we run. We play at a ridiculous pace as well, but our transition game always seems clunky.
