I really hope this comes true. I'd bank on Grubbs being a much more successful OC than Sheridan.If/When Grubb is hired soon, you'll hear the same things from some fans...
I think CKD was ultimately limited by JM hate to say. It became evident to me during the UT game that #4 was limited in his passing capabilities.I think he had some really questionable decisions in 2019 (Slade Bolden at wildcat vs LSU when Najee was feasting; throwing it at the goaline vs auburn that led to a pick 6). But that dude absolutely cooked when it came to scheming, getting your best play makers in space and player development. His 2020 game vs UGA was such an awesome chess match between him and Kirby and he got the upperhand. Truthfully he had the keys to a Ferrari in 2020, but his creative play calling was out of this world. Think my favorite play call was the Najee TD against Florida where he was split out wide at receiver. Complete timing route they must have practiced 1000 times and Sark waited for the most opportune moment to call it.
Was hoping Deboer would bring some of that here. Saw little wrinkles here and there all season, but I was kind of underwhelmed. Then again, I believe he stated not all of the offense is installed yet. Really wish we'd maximize on preshift motions.
Yeah I hate free agency + tampering in college. But on the flip side, our safeties played really well this season. It pains me to see C. Downs in that OSU uni.
Yeah I can definitely see that. I just really hope to see more from the offensive side of the ball in terms of creativity and exploiting the defense.I think CKD was ultimately limited by JM hate to say. It became evident to me during the UT game that #4 was limited in his passing capabilities.
It was like having Jeff Rutledge trying to execute the Fun N Gun.
Gotta think Sark is moving on to NFL ...
I don't think he will either, but you never know. He may feel good about certain teams and think he can build something there. But I don't think he should leave Texas at this moment, he's set them up nicely to make the playoffs for years to come.He ain't leaving Arch IMO, but he's gonna be feeling the pressure next season...
I think sark would be a fool to leave Texas. That team is stacked and has money to spend.I don't think he will either, but you never know. He may feel good about certain teams and think he can build something there. But I don't think he should leave Texas at this moment, he's set them up nicely to make the playoffs for years to come.
If I was Caleb Williams, I'd be publicly begging for him to come there."Weeee're waaaitin for ya cooooach. Soldier Field needs ya"

And he has the same schedule in the SEC for next year, which was pretty light this year. So his path to get to the playoffs for a 3rd straight year is promising. I think they’d have had a better offensive game if they’d have played Arch, couldn’t have been much worse than the 14 points they scored.I don't think he will either, but you never know. He may feel good about certain teams and think he can build something there. But I don't think he should leave Texas at this moment, he's set them up nicely to make the playoffs for years to come.
I didn’t think he was inadequate as an OC hire. But I think I scoffed at his hire at first because I couldn’t see him as anything other than the stand-in OC who was seen eating his boogers during the Natty.Yep. There were some that were pissed when he was hired too, because he wasn't any good as the Falcons offensive coordinator, Pawl....
I'd wager any OC would have had their hands full ... this dump Sheridan because of a player isn't my image of an ideal moveI really hope this comes true. I'd bank on Grubbs being a much more successful OC than Sheridan.
People can laugh… but ND is way more physical than anyone is giving them credit… They smashed and pushed around a team that beat Texas twice (UGa)…Michigan beat Ohio St. with brute force…ND can match Michigan in that department..Notre Dame could beat either one of these teams tonight…
Downs reminds me of a famous general… Benedict ArnoldDowns reminds me of Fitzpatrick, he’s always where the ball is, run, toss sweep, or pass. He didn’t have the defensive TD, but he should have won defensive player of the game.
Surely not after the way the Falcons treated him…I wished he would’ve got the Bama job…Gotta think Sark is moving on to NFL ...
