🏈 Trent "wreckin' ball" Richardson

i must say i've really enjoyed watching this young man carry the football for Alabama thus far. he has great vision, good footwork and what stands out the most with him is how strong he is after contact. He is able to keep his footing and keep moving forward after most any runner would have gone down.

I hope we see more of him this season. :elephant::hyper:

The thing that I love his he ALWAYS falls forward, always getting that lil extra never goin backward. Richardson and Ingram are one of the sickest duos out there (if not THE sickest) and then throw in Upchurch & Grant and good lord.

:no-no: Mark Ingram and Roy Upchurch would be the sickest duo. Grant and Richardson would be the throw in. Don't forget what Upchurch has done for us all last year and against VT. He was a freaking head hunter in the VT game. You wanna talk about wrecking ball.

I'm very grateful for Trent Richardson but, let the boy earn his stripes.

WHOA, there buddy. I'm in noway talking down on Roy or anything he's done for us in the past, but for the past two weeks it has been Trent & Mark as the duo not Mark and Roy. Honestly, I think it will remain the same, much like the tandem of Coffee & Ingram last year when Upchurch would also get his carries but not as many as the other two.

Nowhere in his post did I see anything resembling disrespect to Upchurch... Upchurch is a beast...but you can't say Richardson hasn't "earned his stripes" if Saban has him in rotation. I would say if Saban thinks he's good enough to play, then he's proved enough to me.

If that's not you were insinuating...then why bring it up in the first place? And yes, his best performances have been against sub-par teams...but that doesn't mean people can't spot an absolute stud when they see it. He was just giving Richardson some much deserved praise, so what's the big deal?

Everyone has an opininon. My opinion is trent is the sickest, wickedest, badest back Bama has and will ever see in the future. I personally believe Trent will be Bama's first Heisman winner come his sophmore or junior year. He reminds me of Hershel Walker, A track star that can and will run you slap over. A punishing running back.
