This is just me, but he did help the team get to the CFP and should get a ring. I doubt he'd take much pride in it though knowing he didn't contribute at all in the money games.
Saw a thing where someone ask if Tenpenny's family would get a ring, and it was said that they most likely would. Similar to Aaron Douglas back in 2011.
In my mind, it is a no brainer. Brown was a huge contributor to this team all year. No way he doesn't get a ring. I have no doubt he gets one.

Seeing as that Tenpenny left the team on his own will, I highly doubt his family would be included. Aaron Douglas was actually on the team when he passed away
It would definitely be unusual if Tenpenny's family received a ring but not out of the realm of possibility. I could really see the players advocating for it.
Dollars to donuts he's in counseling and having to complete some course related to issues they want addressed. Has anger management written all over it, imo.
