🏈 Tony Brown Sent Home (rejoins team meetings Weds.)

From what I understand this disagreement with Lee and Jackson could be similar to the one we saw a few years back with Barret Jones and AJ Mc.

From what I have "heard" the argument was over the shut out. One of the guys was saying, so what if MSU scores, while the other was still wanting to bust ass and preserve the shut-out. Hence the pushing and shoving disagreement.

I don't think this is something that CNS is going to punish, if this is indeed the case. You have players that are balls deep into the process and spats like this prove that.

While I agree in principle, it's mighty hard to look one man in the eye and tell him you are suspending him for fighting with a teammate, and then let others ( who did the same thing) get a way with it.

Good point, however, I don't think either one (Lee/Jackson) was in the dog house already for their attitudes. If you already have 2 strikes against you vs 0 strikes............

And also, I'm basing this off of what I have "heard" happened. Wasn't there and don't know for sure. Having said that they may have some punishment as well, it just may be running around practice in a trench coat or stadium steps with a cinder block in each hand. They may not get in trouble at all. I'm just saying, it is no secret TB has been the dog house most of the year and by his own self admission had some attitude issues.

“Tony Brown is suspended and until we get any new information he will continue to be suspended,” Saban said

Is it possible that Saban is waiting on the players council to decide about TB. That would be getting "new information" in coach speak.

That's a group of guys you're talking about, not one coach.

Going along those lines, I wonder if coach will leave it up to the players council to determine whether or not he practices and gets the opportunity to go to Glendale. Does CNS make an executive order and make that ruling himself. My gut tells me that he would allow the players to decide. One of those, this is your team speeches.

I haven't thought a lot about Tony. I haven't tried to find out what's going on with him. When he was sent home simple deductive reasoning told me he was suspended and that would likely be the same story this week.

Merely a guess here ... based on what Saban's done in the past ... I'm thinking "new information" has to do with what steps Tony has taken to address his "issues." (IE: enrolled in anger management classes, opinions of his counselor, or something along those lines.)

I'd like to see him come back. By my count, we've got seven defensive backs who are draft eligible (Tony isn't one) and four of those have no eligibility remaining.
