Okay gang, we've covered some of the more flashy positions with our off-season poll so far. How bout throwing a bone to the little guys?

Who's BAMA's all-time best placekicker in your opinion?

I have to go with Peter Kim. If I remember correctly, without going back and looking at the records, neither he nor Van TIffin missed a PAT. Kim had an incredidly accurate and strong leg, maybe not as memorable as Tiffin (The Kick), but when the game was on the line, Kim got it done.

I had a hard time deciding between Doyle, Kim, & Tiffin. All where great, all won and/or helped win a lot of Alabama games. I finally went with Doyle. What I've heard called "The Six Shooter Game" on one of the Third Saturdays in October made him win it over the others in my mind. Remember? He kicked he game winning field goal, and then he made the 6 shooter gesture with both hands? I know there is a picture of him doing this somewhere, if I find it I'll post it.

The Kick is one of my favorite moments, but I still had to go with Doyle.
