Thanks so much for the information. Overseas and we got to see the game on this website. WOW, the Tide is really loaded and just needs some fine tuning.
I think it would be good to work on the kick off returns with a great emphasis. Everyone we play seems to have a great kickoff returner and play that sets up the return. Coach Bazemore in Valdosta GA used to say--I will kick it off to the corner of the field (around the 5 yard line) and put my best players on the return team and we will challenge the receiving team to have the courage to bring it up the field. That is the mentality we must have and it certainly worked for Coach B---the only obvious weakness we have but still some work to do. We can not get into the idea that it is ok to settle for field goals. Some teams will gladly swap FGs for TDs--Florida comes to mind.
