(I'm using Yea Alabama because it's the latest, probably more well known, version of Alabama's NIL Collective.)
I'm going to use a Tier system of sorts with this being Tier One: the lowest priced plan to support UA.
Call it $100 a year. After all, that's what your premium recruiting sites are charging annually, on average.
I don't care about merchandise. I want information. And, if they used the 'Yea Alabama' site as it could be done they'd have subscriptions hands over fists.
Consider:
Weekly interviews with the staff from DeBoer down through guys like Ballou, Jeff Allen, Mike Ward...all the way through to ground screw and those preparing the stadiums for Game days.
Do you remember when Saban's staff had weekly highlights of last week's games posted on Monday's? I liked those. And and I'd love to see the same with the other teams: a recap of a mid-week baseball game as example. I'd pay for that.
Solid, in-depth interviews with players.
Daily highlights from practices.
And, intermixed with all of this? Some solid writing from guys we already know around campus. I'm not a huge fan of Suttles: but he does a good job.
Compare and contrast: Recruiting sites which mainly cover what might happen or a UA site that is telling you what is happening?
To me, it seems like a BIG opportunity; just ignored. After all, they are already doing such...just poorly.
