šŸ’¬ The Masters 2018

JT had a blah round. Played fairly solid thru 15 holes (3 birds/3 boogies) but made double on par 3 16th and finished +2. Will need to to go low tomorrow to stay in striking distance for the weekend.

Garcia on the 15th hole was a true tin cup moment. Just keep swinging Sergio.
All that was missing was Cheech handing him balls.

Haven’t tuned in today but a lot of black on today’s leaderboard for rd2. Is the weather a factor today (wind?)? Hole placement can always make a birdie hole one day a tough par the next. Green speeds are usually kept consistent throughout a tournament but I know if the greens are ā€˜firmer’ that holding the green on longer approaches is much more difficult.
Personally I sucked so bad at golf as a younger lad I quit in shame/disgust/misery and haven’t played in 20yrs. I blame a combination of being left handed but swinging as a righty along with years of baseball swings. I do still enjoy watching the majors and especially The Masters.

I've been following Mickelson this morning. He got a triple bogey early on and has been heading north ever since. Jordan Spieth has lost 4 strokes as well. Tiger still can't negotiate the par 5s. The leaderboard is a mess.

Watching off an on at work, but I think it's more of the pin placements than anything else. Wind is blowing a hair, but nothing that should be keeping these guys from scoring. I think it's just a realization that Augusta National is tougher than a lot of people want to give it credit for. Greens appear to be faster, and these guys are having trouble off the tee from my viewing today.

Just what the doctor ordered for JT. Good round that has put him right in the middle of things going into the weekend.
Need for this Fatboy Reed to comeback to the pack ....JT has to go 68 back to back (Sat/Sun)
I don’t believe that is remotely possible or necessary. I think -5 could be enough as weather gets more challenging this weekend.

JT shooting -5 over the weekend? That would put him seven under. I've heard a few mention that number as the goal for the week.

I'm thinking instead of Saturday being moving day we're going to see Saturday being falling day. I'm hoping Mother Nature is blowing today as well. 10-15 sustained winds and its wet? I would love watching that!

Following his action for the weekend. Friday killed him. BUT...1U at +160 for over 65.5? Geez...that's one he might be sweating Sunday. He's gotta love today's weather for that.

The action on the six players with only Tiger out right now...that might stand.

All you want to do is position yourself for the weekend and Justin has done that. I would like to see a good soaking on the greens today from mother nature. Turning the hose on these greens feels like a nice way to get even for the set up this week.

A big question going in is when the rain is going to hit. They're talking about its heaviest hitting around 2ET. JT tees at 2 and he's in the fourth to last group. How many groups will be left on the course? For the last group there's about a five, five and a half-hour window for them to get in 18: 2:30 tee with sunset around a quarter til eight.
