🏈 The Good & Bad From The LSU Game

Pros
-No turnovers offensively
-Alabama defense held LSU to under 100 yards. Whether that was due to Alabama's defense or LSU shutting down the run, holding Jeremy Hill in check was huge.
-The offensive line's progression since game 1. Absolutely amazing to watch. Ryan Kelly, Arie Kounj., and Austin Shepherd are absolutely monsters now and are living up to Alabama's standard
-CJ Mosley putting on a show defensively. As seen before, he is getting Heisman votes. He definitely won't win the Heisman, but he is getting the recognition for being one of the best, if not the best, defender in the country.
-OJ Howard
-Landon Collins had a good night outside of that one TD
-TJ Yeldon and Kenyan Drake. Nothing to say here. Just an unbelievable tandem with incredible quickness, great vision, and good power.

Cons
-3rd down defense. LSU started 6 for 7 on 3rd down conversions. Mainly because of the fact that they were in 3rd-and-manageable for the most part, but Alabama could not get off the field defensively on 3rd down.
-Corner backs had a tough night, as expected though facing two of the best receivers in CFB along with the most improved QB.
-Alabama's offense on 3rd down.
-Kick off coverage was 'turrible. Odell is a great play maker but no reason for him to go untouched until the 30 yard line. LSU did a great job at taking our best special teams player out of the game, which I think we all agree, its Landon Collins.
-My score prediction sucked.

Pretty good assessment. With regards to the barn, if (when) Bama shuts down their running game, the barn is done (besides, they can't stop our offense). Kickoff coverage is the only real concern I have going into the game. Personally, I'd like to see Foster put every kickoff in the end zone.

I agree, we have seen that Foster can put it deep in the endzone. I understand that they are trying to give the opponent the worst starting position possible but why give them any chance of a big play or TDif you don't have to.

One other "bad" dropped balls that could have been interceptions, at least four on them.

The good, beating lsu again and making less look even more dumb than he is.

^^ The flea flicker was the only one that I thought was actually an overthrow, I thought the other one you could consider was the deep pass to Christion Jones. Either he ran the wrong route or AJ threw the wrong route. It looked like to me on that play there was no safety deep so if it was an option route you would think Jones had it right it going to a fly route but AJ was thinking the corner so he threw the corner.
