Over here in Texas all the talk is about how the SEC sucks compared to the Big12. In every hypothetical situation I've seen posted its a given that Florida beats us.... So, after we win the SEC I would sure like to play Texas, just so I can watch all there expesions as we kick the dog-**** out of them. Just curious of who ya'll would like to see come out of the Big12?

We'll address that issue after next weeks game for now we are focused on the barn! RTR!

IF I were you...

I'd say to anyone that brings up the SEC...as soon as you get your own stuff figured out - the mess you created 12 years go that you think is so wrong now - get back to me.

If they continue...

It's simple on Tx. Tech, as example. We knew how to beat them in 2005...same thing OU did to them last weekend. In our roughest of years, it was all OU could do to beat us in our home and home seasons with their players stating, "it was the toughest game they played all year." Texas fans...I'm curious how hard it is for them to root for the 'pokes this weekend.

Texas needs more than the Pokes to win. That would make it a two way tie with Tech, who would win the tie break. They also need for Baylor to beat Tech. My Texas pal has resigned himself to Oklahoma passing them in the BCS rankings if the Sooners beat the Cowboys.

It ain't just the big 12, everyone seems to think   so. Seen it before in 92, 99. Never really bothered me, still doesn't, except for ole Kirk. I can't wait to see him chew on a little crow again.

^^^ Forgot about that ^^^

So, resign themselves to...? Cotton or Gator?

Wow...what a screwed up conference to try to figure out who goes where. If Mizzou loses the Big12 CG, that means in theory the 2nd place team (by virtue of playing in the CG) gets the 4th best bowl?

Big 12 #1 in BCSCG
Big12 #2 Fiesta
Big12 #3 Cotton
Big 12 #4 Gator

Can you imagine if Texas ended up in the Insight Bowl?

I'm in the Dallas area and all my buddies are Texas fans. I think the SEC hate-party is due to the fact that the greatness of the SEC has been shoved down their throats for years(deservedly so). I would LOVE to play Texas. I like our odds against any team in the Big XII.

By the way, first time poster here, been reading for awhile now. This is definitely the best 'BAMA board I've seen. Good work fellas.

Hi Mick, good to have you here. Texas doesn't seem overly impressive tonight against a 4-7 Aggies team.

'Bama would be having fun playing them if they played at this point.

Edit at end of game:

Okay, Texas beat them to death, but still, I wasn't overly impressed with Texas. The Aggies were a 4-7 team and held them pretty close for a good bit.

If the Aggies offense could have done anything at all and gave their defense a rest this would have been a much better game.
