In basketball, they are on probation right now: two years left. They just saw their assistant coach arrested by the FBI. They just saw their head coach suspended two games.

My reference was with regards to them being nailed. I am thinking of something that hurts by impacting money, scholarships, etc.... With probation, suspension of head coach and assistant coach being arrested all should be reasons to nail them but I do not connect the dots how it really hurts the program in the pocket book or scholarships.

It is not a good look so maybe it does and I am just not connecting the dots. I guess the recruits could see this and the recruits parents could prevent their kid from going there. It is indirect instead of direct punishment like we are reducing your scholarships by x #'s. Oh and it is not the football program. So I guess I should clarify what I mean when I read nail. Punishment fits the crime and that bunch is a corrupt bunch.
