I tried not to laugh but was unsuccessful. It seems like since Maze left it has been a nonchalant position with some real head scratchers mixed in for good measure

I wouldn't mind getting a little sleep but have to open the bar this morning. No need to try when I have to be there in an hour and a half or so.

Update of sorts:

- Ok so I spoke with Mel at the scrimmage and he said " the days of crappy DB play are over", I believe him and I saw it first hand.

- I think I undervalued how bad the QB play was in the scrimmage, the reason Barnett was the better choice is because the ball was actually around the receiver. Had it not been for Ardarius Stewart making crazy plays Coker may have had 0 competitions. In fact one crossing route was so far behind Stewart he had to stop change directions and go the other way. Which in normal play would have gotten him murdered. This isn't to discourage anyone I just want you to know the situation and why Saban is so bent out of shape.

- At this point Morris, Barnett, and Corn will have to have some separation to be even considered as the starter. So far Barnett has led practice and it isn't even that close.

- Something I want to stress is Kiffin wants consistency at the position in practice and in the scrimmage which he has not received. There is only one person who selects the QB and that is Kiffin, granted Saban gives his .10 cents, he has given full authority to Kiffin on this matter. Last year Saban wanted Coker to play, and Kiffin didn't. This trend continues.

- I asked my staff source this morning for full disclosure on what qb is trending to be the starter. I will post that when I receive it.

Ya, consisting of beer and liquor.

We're just outside the Navy base so there's a decent amount of people that work nights and stop by in the AM ... retired guys coming in ... etc.
