The news on Duron Payne coming on the scene on an already stacked D-Line has got to be the second biggest surprise other than Minkah Fitzpatrick. I read today he couldn't lift his own weight as soph in HS. (which i imagine is already a large amount but still.) That improvement in three years in a high school program has me giddy of what he might accomplish in three years in our S&C program.

I'm more concerned on offense with the people catching the passes than who will be throwing to them. It has to be hard for them given the lack of experience no matter how talented. Black who should be leader of the group has been sidelined. Not being able to build chemistry with a known starter. Amari was great and of course will be missed but DeAndrew White was solid. Who will step up behind Stewart and be this year's White is an answer I'm looking for.

@CrimsonBoz Will Tim Williams get more playing time this year?He has a very high energy and it seems like when he gets in the game he does something good and makes things happen.

Yeah his role will increse, he is a stud btw.

Are we still going to use the mush rush technique (or whatever the hell we were calling it) on defense? I would love to see more edge rushes, including the CB blitz with some of these speedsters.

I swear if we finally fixed SC and got these guys leaner and quicker for nothing I'll hang it up. They better be planting qbs in the dirt.

I kind of feel like we have plenty of good recievers.

Starters being foster, stewart, black

Backups : ridley, Mullaney (ton of game time experience ), parker, falkins, on and on.

We will do our usual sub the reciever often deal per packages.

Talked to my guy today. He said the QB to watch out for in all of this is Bateman. While all eyes are focused elsewhere, Master Bateman is slowly stroking his way to the top. Expect a strong climax from the cum back kid.

Hey we had a good run with the last QB who had practiced at more than one position. Maybe while running some routes it just clicked for him. :think:
