That doesn't imply they didn't get along; or still don't. Like I mentioned earlier, the regimented routine Saban requires wasn't being met.

I don't want to see Alabama sink to the levels of a Mississippi school. Right now, based on Lane being Lane, that's what would happen. He wouldn't get a look if they were seeking a coach today.

Personally I can’t see Kiffin making it at Bama … not unless he matures more than I think he’s capable of doing.
