Funny how SMU is now playing for the ACC title now that erbody can pay their players and not get in trouble. I wonder will they sue the NCAA for the death penalty? It worked for Reggie Bush.

We'll see. They haven't done jack crap yet. They don't dominate against a solid opponet. And I'm not sold A&M was really anything this year.
And I KNOW Kirby will have UGA ready after everybody else, once again, is saying that Texas is going to win. It will not shock me in the slightest if Jawja bitch slaps Texas again.
Letās look at this realistically. This isnāt Texasā first year playing football. Theyāre a good team. Letās just be happy itās not Texas and Oklahoma in the championship game.

Very happy its not ok-tx. Not happy its either. But. Texas looks solid. Especially at QB.
Uga has got a mysterious qb. Kind of like bama. Just not sure what ur gonna get.
I saw that pic of David Bird and thought, wait a minute. Bama is signing Mariachis now? Seriously, give that guy a guitar and put him in a shiny suit and he could play the lead next to Antonio Banderas. Welcome to Bama.
I thought this was worth mentioning when CNS was HC he came into the state of GA and got more than his share of elite players even when Kirby took over at UGA. Currently the GHSA football championships are being played in Atlanta living in the metro area for many years I always watch them. I have not seen any player committed or signed with UA. The offensive and defensive All-Stars were announced yesterday 57 players total and non are committed to UA. UGA has mopped up and UT has come in filling the void. Of the ESPN top 300 players Bama has one commitment from GA. The state is so talent rich and we are missing out just an observation I'm seeing.

Agree 100% with you here. I see us reaching far West where DeBoer was coaching and where he knows people, but he better load up with Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana players or we will get left behind.

In the past when I watch these finals almost every team 3A and up we would at least one player committed and most of time a couple.
There is some sick talent in the state this year UGA, UT and even TX are signing these players.
The kickoff classics Saban started in Atlanta and in Arlington were master strokes of genius. āHey recruits, watch us bash a reputable opponent in your neighborhood!ā

Agree this is the area that CKD is going to have to find his way and produce in my view. West coast kids are fine but you need some of these southern studs all things equal. Plus if we are not getting them then they are going to our competition. Another one of those examples the GOAT is no longer in T-Town. Give it a few recruiting cycles to see if it is going to be a longer term problem or not.
