Wow, that's great money for softball, or for any sport in my eyes. Thanks for sharing that, because I'm ignorant to the amount of money some of these folks are actually being offered, and it is eye popping for me. Buuuut, put that $300,000 up and let it work for you, even with a Stanford degree it'd be hard to catch that in the long term.

Depends on the degree, something tells me a degree in Liberal Arts is not a very lucrative career as far as salaries are concerned. :p
I'm not sure anything can catch you up to the payments created by college tuitions these days.
