McNeese State.
For those who don't know. Won the first game against Washington 1-0. Was leading 6-0 going to the top of the seventh in the second game. Three outs away from going to and probably hosting a Super Regional when their little field doesn't even qualify to host a Regional. Gave up 7 runs in the top of the seventh and lost 7-6!

Actually went to a McNeese football game once and if I remember correctly???? They were in a mid major bowl game vs a P5 opponent
But i know nothing of the bar u referenced

Well the softball team is Cowgirls, so I assume the boys are the politically incorrect Cowboys.
Heh...didnt see 252's reply until after I posted...thought I fat fingered and double posted.
This is not an attempt to get the thread back on the rails... but wanted to mention that Caroline Hudson (catcher, Liberty) is a player UA apparently has interest in via the portal. Side note: She HR'd against Bama earlier this year and helped lead Liberty to the win by driving in 4 of their 5 runs that game.

Would that then result in Giles hitting the portal, or would she play another position?
Not sure. Was just told there was some early interest. I'd think they'd want to keep Giles... she's the only C with any experience as of now coming back (that I know of).
Giles is rock solid behind the plate. She moves as good or better than shipman, but can’t hit like her.
I like her potential.
