It reminds me of Auburn's dilemma with Gus. Sure, you could fire him, but are you sure you can get someone better. Gus made more money being an OK coach with a couple of well timed wins than anybody I've ever seen.

I think they need to give Potter the rest of the season and then see what they need in the summer to give him a complete squad. They should be able to sell a few players to recoup some of the costs. Of course, if he can't turn it around, Felix probably won't want to stay after his loan period is up.
 
The board has publicly backed Potter, if (when... 😥) Chelsea loses to both Tottenham and Dortmund, that should kill any remaining good will.

Would you give him the rest of the season and through the summer? I haven't followed Chelsea's transfers much, but it almost seems like they're trying to put together a FIFA FUT team. I think they've signed some good players, but I'm not sure how well they all fit together.

They probably don't look like they fit well together because Potter's team looks and plays like a team without any solid direction. But, the boys gave it their all. I'm broken.

Didn't they get rid of the away goal rule for this year's Champions League (and beyond)? I thought I remembered hearing that last year.
