We had runners on 1st and 3rd with 0 outs in the 4th and couldn't plate a run. That simply can't happen especially for a team that can't hit. And how can a girl throw 200+ pitches and we still couldn't figure her out?

Since Bama lost in the first round, does this take away the team's chances of hosting a regional?

It doesn't hurt as bad as you would think. LSU is #3 in RPI and we went 14 innings at a neutral site with them. We need Arkansas and Texas A&M to lose their first games though. Bama is #14, Arkansas #15, and A&M #16. A win today for Bama would have almost guaranteed us hosting.

We had 2 terrible teams and one (LSU) was just able to outlast the other (BAMA). This Bama team has no speed and no power hitters. When you have runners on base you have to have power hitters and not slappers to get those runs in. Also when you have veteran players that continue to regress, especially at the plate your chances of winning are not very good. Murphy has done great things at Bama but it’s time for a change at the top. He has lost his edge in recruiting, player development, in game adjustments, and overall coaching due to his lack of keeping up with the game.

LOL... auburn and UGA were tied 2-2 going into the 14th (sound familiar?)... auburn hit a 3 run HR to take a 5-2 lead in the top half. UGA then comes up and promptly gets the 3 runs back with their own 3 run HR. Then UGA walked it off with a solo shot, 6-5.
