Really wish heād just let Josh Maxson do a generic 50 word press release and starve the media. But oh well. Pay attention until the end to see Mike Rodak swoop in out of the far lane to swipe the Dumbest Question of the Day Award from Kirk McNair.
Kirk McNair... You got all this time to think of a question to ask this man, and that's what you came up with?
CNS's general comments On the Byrne tweet / Medical professionals asking them to wear mask and keep distance:
"I don't think they're doing that for the heck of it, I think there's a reason for it. We're trying to control the spread of this disease. And I think our ability to do that is going to go a long way in saying whether we can play football or not. But bigger than that.. It's your own personal bubble for your own personal safety. Every one of these students...to take the proper care of themselves and respect the protocols that people are recommending for your safety... And I just think that's the smart thing to do".
Just nice to see some football talk. Looks like in this virtual presser that more national media is able to participate. I do not recall hearing some of the reporters asking questions in the past during a normal practice presser.
Coach and the team are ready to win a national title. The only thing that could stop them is people not wearing masks and getting football shut down if virus cases spike. Not surprisingly, Coach makes an emphatic and compelling case to fans to do the selfless thing and care for your neighbor.
