I don't remember who the player was....I'm sure some of you remember but one of Shula's players made the comment that Hoover High School's football practices were more intense and physical than Bama's practices under Shula.
No kidding that pretty much sums it up without having to say a word. Just look at the demeanor of Shula vs Saban. That translates thru the players and to the field. The players are a product of coaching.

Koz, I'll defend CNS and staff on that goof. Apparently, the one and only Penn Wagers didn't explain the penalty as to where it could and could not be applied as he should have. But hey, that Wagers for you.
I watched the replay last night and I see now where you are coming from Koz. My 6 year old daughter was attending her first game and I was a little out of sync at times. I saw the false start penalty on the replay and not at the game. I believe the coaches didn't really pay attention to it as well. I saw that Wagers came over to explain it after CNS had called the timeout. I stand corrected Koz.You must admit though that Wagers has been an Azzclown in the past when calling our games.
