Green,Tolliver, Edwards, Clement, Bolden...a number of players we are recruiting in that area. FWIW, he's headed to the Texas right now...more than likely, Damion Square.

Well, that's the first thing I've read in this thread that makes me a little nervous. Only because Franny the Fanny promised the aTm faithful that Square's recruitment was NOT over. Do you think Mr. Sherman may be giving Damion a call?

I think its exciting for us...all the unsettled coach positions in our neighboring states gives Saban a shoe in the door of big time players who normally would not consider the Tide.

Just out of curiousity, when does the dead period for recruiting start? I heard on a radio show yesterday that now was the dead period, but obviously, that must be incorrect. Of course, they were also saying Miles to Michigan.

About the middle of the month...last year, it started on the 15th.

When they were talking about Pelini to Nebraska on ESPN, they said it was the 14th. Herbstreit was making the case that Pelini could go out recruiting for the Huskers until the 14th, then act as LSU DC again until the NC game was over.
