šŸˆ Ryan Grubb joins the Alabama offensive coaching staff.

It's not a typical situation where UA is down an OC or staff member and needs to make a hire ASAP, so the timeline isn't all that important. My understanding is Grubb is still weighing some things and DeBoer isn't pressing, but he knows where it stands. Maybe it works out, maybe not. I'm not predicting anything, but I wouldn't be surprised to maybe see some movement one way or the other by the end of next week.

Grubb is officially back (as OC), per UA release from Yea Alabama...

I think Nick did decent job given the situation, but I'm still angry at him for how he called the game against Michigan. Three straight passes in red zone.
His situational play calling definitely was hit or miss. I don't think Milroe did him any favors unfortunately but Sheridan could have easily moved the pocket more for him. Both parties just didn't seem to mesh well (Milroe in a new system; Sheridan as a play caller).

Nostradamus!!

That tweet basically lays it out, but Bama now has 3 guys who are all capable offensive coordinators/play callers on staff. Shephard doesn't get the credit he deserves and DeBoer has been lucky to hold onto him, he picks up more and more OC interest every year. Anyway, those 3 plus DeBoer who is the man behind the curtain.... That ain't bad, y'all.

Once again- Brandon comes through with the facts. He basically called this 3 weeks ago!
Why I listen when he gives out information!

Absolutely no way of knowing but my opinion is the Bama offense would have been more productive if Grubb stayed last year. Nothing against Sheridan but a more experienced OC and play caller would have been able to navigate that dynamic better. Sheridan did fine but was delt a lot to handle with the OL, QB, new league and players having to adjust to a new system.

Thing is, with the QB room we have now. It is more conducive to the style of play that DeBoer wants on offense. While I'm ecstatic that Grubb is in T-town. I think Sheridan is going to receive more criticism if things work offensively like we hope they do with Grubb calling the plays. Sheridan was fisticuffed last year with a RB playing QB.

It will be interesting to see how the QB develops moving forward.
