...joining George O'Leary who he worked with a few years ago at Ga. Tech.

For those who don't know him, he is the Director of Player Personnel with responsibilities of coordinating our camps, clinics and works with the recruiting staff as well. It's an important position, but not a move I would call critical to the success of the program.

He's reportedly taking an on the field position again.

Dabo! Dabo! Dabo!
You must have missed the thread a week or so back where Dabo was discussed? Wonder if we should start that up again?

And, besides, any opening here would not be an on-field position; so I really doubt he would be interested.

So what exactly does Todd Alles do because I thought these were the activities usually performed by the Dir of Football Opps? ;scr

I'm having a mind blank on a name here...

To compare Alles and Collins with positions you may be familiar with I would have to use Randy Ross and _________. <-- name escapes me today.

Randy served as Dir. of Football Ops. and _______ served as our high school relations coordinator. Different titles, but essentially a lot of the same responsibilities. NOW, Ross handled a lot of the clinics and camps while overseeing the football ops as well.

How the two different sets break down different responsibilities, I don't know. As Dir. of Football Ops, Alles certainly has a lot more on his plate than Ross did under Shula and the other staffs he's worked with.

Damn...former player, coached some in high school before joining UA...what's his name?!?!?!

I missed it...wouldn't be the first thing I've missed, or the last I suspect...and that's just today.
No harm, no foul.
