🏈 Preach Shank...

truth!

if you plan to have a baby, then do the conceiving in early october, but no later than the first week of november. that way, your baby will be born around july of the next year. it's before the season and won't interfere with any games. also, you won't have to get upset at anyone who doesn't show up to your kid's birthday party because they decided to go to the game instead. we call that a win/win, people.

also if you plan to get married, do it in the spring or summer. don't try to make a statement by thinking, "they wouldn't dare miss my wedding and go to an ALABAMA game instead." they would, and they will. it has happened more times than most people realize. it's pretty much a fact of life in this state. and pretty much every time, the bride/groom was warned not to do it. or, like he said, shoot for the bye week.

Got married in the Spring, first born came in May, second child came the end of November- will be 15 years old at Thanksgiving.

Father in law remarried in 2013 after my mother in law had passed away several years before, and it was the afternoon of the A&M game. I was a nervous wreck!! I got to watch the first 3 quarters at home but then that 4th quarter!! The preacher was a BAMA fan and his eyes were locked on me the entire time as I watched on my phone. Told my father in law that I wouldn't come to his next wedding if he pulled that again.

If you PLAN is the key part. Some folks celebrate championships exuberantly.
