First swarm of the year. This one landed about 14’ off the ground. I placed a 5 gallon bucket under the ball of bees and shook the majority off the limb into the bucket. Then poured them into a bee box sitting on my truck. Took about 30 minutes before they settled down.

Yeah I was on a six foot ladder, should’ve used an eight. I placed the bucket so the ball was inside the bucket and then pushed very hard straight up. I dumped that group in the bottom box and then climbed back up to get the ones I missed the first time. I finally cut the limb off.
