I know this is not Alabama sports but this woman put ladies basketball on the map. Pat Summitt was a great coach and torch bearer for the SEc and ladies college basketball. Prayers to her family.
Alzheimer's is a terrible disease that does work quickly. President Reagan was much more advanced in age, but the time frame seemed to be the same. One of my soccer moms from a number of years ago was diagnosed in her mid - late 50s, and she died pretty quickly, too.
