Tell me this...

How is this any different than the fans that paint their upper body and faces?

Much easier to get off after the game is over is one difference. :D

And, this guy obviously has some sort of super-human powers. I think it's great that a fan does that. I'd like to know the hero's name. I had a buddy who dressed up like a super hero for high school football games. Sounds cheezy, and it is, but he was definitely a fan favorite at the games. During class day where they hand out awards to seniors, he was given the oppurtunity by our principle to take of his robe and run around the gym in his Panther Man costume, blasting his air horn. Really a site to see.
Here are 2 of my favorite fans :P

The camera man finds them at almost every home game I watch. They've even made it in the BAMA section of Athlon Sports' season preview.

I know...doesn't change my opinion of them.

What's your beef with the twins?

I'm not saying Terry is one of them, but there are a few guys on this board that actually think they are ugly. :?

It's because there are 10x hotter. The University of Alabama offers a lot more eye candy then just those two, and some of us dislike for them to be associated with the top half. :D

I will say that's the first half decent picture I've seen of the 'twins'.

I wouldn't say they are gorgeous by any means. But I think they are pretty girls, plus there's two of 'em.

OK, twins. One redeeming quality.

I wouldn't say they are ugly, but not head turning by any means in my book.

Quite frankly, by the second time they were shown on the broadcast, I was tired of seeing them.

I agree, they get way too much face time.

is that psychojoe? :D

I can be picked out easily in the crowd at home games. I'm the one in the crimson straight jacket and matching Napoleon hat. (My old logo on rolltidefans.net). I wear white on the road, just as the team does.

For some reason I have a lot of room near my seat.

:D :D :D

You heard them speak? I went to school with them and they were quite as mice. But they DO look alot different now. Talk about the duck turning into the swan. :D

I am not saying that it is the case with anyone on this board, but here is a bit of psychoanalysis for you:

Those who have absolutely zero luck with attractive women tend to be more critical of the less than perfect that exist well above their own status. The reason is formulated something like this (whereas critic is D)

D < a < b

D most desires B, therefore since a < b, D is critical...nevermind that even attaining C would be outkicking D's coverage.

Its the same kind of logic used by barners who had rather attack Bama and tear us down, than to build themselves up. It is really a self-image issue.

If you were to look at the women in the lives of those criticizing the twins, you find that more often than not, they are far more Hillary Clinton than Sarah Palin.

Speaking entirely for myself in this comment...

The phrase that comes to mind is one you used to hear back in the early 90's about mopeds.

You wouldn't mind riding them, but you just don't want to be seen doing so.
