🏈 Ohio State Has Alabama Beat in Every Metric to Make the College Football Playoff

1. Clemson (Beat Miami ACC)
2. OU (Beat TCU Big 12)
3. Auburn or UGA (SEC)
4. Bama 1 loss

Wisconsin 1 loss (lose to OH St)
Ohio State two losses
Notre Dame three losses
Miami two losses
UGA/Auburn two-three losses

Pretty simple I think. We are 4 if Ohio State wins. They are -6.5 and Barrett will play.
If TCU pulls an upset over OU it's just icing on the cake.

For BAMA to get in, we need TCU and Ohio State to win their conference championship game. That will then lead to discussion and look at the overall body of work and not just the last month of the season.

If any of you think that OU winning puts us out then go ahead and count us out. OU isn't losing.

Some of you missed the point of my post I guess. Either GA or AU in, not both. Either MIA or Clem in, not both. OU is in. That leaves 1 spot assuming no major upset happens with TCU.

Either us, Wisconsin, or Ohio State gets the 4th spot

Don't think we want any part of Oklahoma or Clemson. Offense couldn't score enough to stay competitive and the defense couldn't keep them in check. It would be another embarrassing loss as both would run up the score.

Anybody that thinks any differently than this just might need rehab.

There’s no way in hell we can beat OU or Clemson and I have no interest in watching Bama get curbstomped

Well, after reading some of the responses here, there seems to be a lot of people in denial about the truth. Daboll's offensive scheme is not suited for college football. Hurts is an athlete playing QB and not an athletic QB. He has not progressed under Daboll. Tua may take his bumps initially, but his ability and potential to be an athletic QB far exceeds Hurts.

I am not saying the sky is falling, but there are obvious issues. Look at our schedule. We got pushed by several average teams and if LS(who) had connected on a few of those deep passes, we would have lost that game. The fact that we didn't lose that game had nothing to do with our play and more to do with Etling missing his receivers. Seriously, Miss ST went toe-to-toe with us. Miss ST. For all the talent we have on this team, there is no reason to play the way we did against any of those teams.

I doubt Bama's in the playoffs. By the looks of last night, I'd hate to see what might happen in that first round game. Talk about embarrassing. The committee probably doesn't want another Michigan St. type blowout - only this time with Bama getting the short end.

Who on this board thinks this Alabama team is one of the four best in the nation? Maybe we are, some of the others that seem to be guaranteed a playoff spot got blown out much worse than we did yesterday. If Georgia wins, they got beat worse than we did by the Barn. OU got thumped in their loss. Ohio State's been blown out twice. At any rate, our body of work is finished and cannot be changed. As Saban says "It is what it is". The way I take it, the committee asks themselves that question, conference champions or not, and they add in the whole body of work. This team doesn't pass the eye test now and hasn't won any division or conference. I guess time will tell. Whatever happens it's not going to match what happened in the basketball game yesterday.

Well said.

And what if TCU doesn't pull the upset? Who is your top 4? I don't see why OU has to lose for us to get in. In your 4 scenarios we only need Wisconsin to lose to open up the 4th spot
OU must lose along with Wisconsin because there will be a strong push to get ohio in.
There is a change that Bama gets in with a Wisconsin loss, but it isn't a sure thing. I'm saying that if both OU and Wisconsin lose along with Miami, we're in for sure.
So, in my scenario, the final top 4 would look something like this:
1. Clemson
2. barn yard
3. Bama
4. ohio
