🏈 Ohio State Has Alabama Beat in Every Metric to Make the College Football Playoff

All I got to say is that the Fox Sport talking head are smoking something! All are saying you can't keep the B1G and the Pac-12 out of the playoff. If you didn't play in your Champingship game then you shouldn't be able to be in the playoff. This from R.Smith and M. Lenart. These guys must have some type of head injury or something?

Pac 12? WTF?! So they want to put #10 USC in over Bama? Good lord.

I keep mulling the same things around in my head about the Iowa loss but at this point osu is playing better ball especially on offense than Alabama.

You do realize Ohio State literally JUST lost to Iowa not even a month ago, right? Unranked Iowa. 7-5 Iowa. Iowa who lost to Purdue.... and Northwestern. They didn't just lose, they lost by 30. Iowa dropped 50 on them, yeah the same Iowa team that barely ever scores more than 17.

Dave Wannstedt said his top four were
1. Clemson
2. OK
3. UGA
4. tOSt
5. USCw yes he would put them 5th!
The guy that is the host told them he muteing it all, Because he could hear all the Bama fans!!

These guys are BIG10 hacks. They have their contract. Smith is a Buckeye. Jo Klatt that called the game, huge BAMA hater! I flipped off the game before I had to listen to them, again.

That's the issue with these networks having exclusive contracts to certain conferences. They're expected to lobby/politic for those teams. At least ESPN has connections to almost every conference, love them or hate them.

Does anyone realistically expect Bama to get in?

If so, why?

I just don't see it.

Because vegas would favor them 4-6 pts in a head to head matchup. If they only wanted "metrics", they wouldn't have a committee. It would all be #'s and/or conf champions.

The precedent was set last year when tOSU got in despite not being conf champs and 2 loss penn st was left out.

I personally don't think Bama deserves it on "body of work" but neither does ohio state when they get thumped twice in 2 season, once by Iowa. There are 3 deserving teams (4th would be UCF but that's another subject) so someone else gets in.... Could easily be Alabama.
