Well the SEC stands at 3-4 with at least the upper tier showing up and 2 big boys going today. Has anyone noticed the bowl record of the supposed best conference in America this year? the B1G is 2-4 with Michigan and Nebraska going down.

Fortunately for B1G 10, no disrespect to Western Mich, Wisconsin got a gimme otherwise the 'best conference in country' looks as if their 4 teams who could have made playoffs go 1-3 and overall 2-6.

Disclaimer-spoken way too soon during Rose Bowl. Still think USC prevails but PSU is 2nd half team and only down 6 at half. IMO, this has been best Bowl game to date featuring top talent teams. Nothing better than Bama win, but I wear Crimson colored glasses. This game has featured, at times, good defense (although not to our standards) but some really outstanding offensive players making unbelievable plays.

He's 88, and while it shows physically and in his voice, his mind's still running. He is probably one of, if not, THE best play-by-play men to call football games! He loved Coach Bryant and calling big games. I'll never forget his call during the Bama '92 NC game: "Teague's got the ball! Teague's got the ball!"
